Scrapbook MADNESS

I made my husband a scrapbook a few years ago when he was still my boyfriend. It was one of his Christmas gifts and had 10 pages filled with memories from our first year together. I left the next half of the book blank with the intention of filling a page a year for the next ten years with that year's highlight. For example, I gave him the scrapbook Christmas 2012, he proposed not even a week later on Years Eve. Page 11 would have been the proposal as the highlight of 2013. Page 12 would have been the highlight of 2014, and so on.  Well, that was the plan, but we do so many things! I went through 2013 in my head  and after the proposal we got our first pet together AND our first house... How could I not count those as highlights of our year?!

It is now 2015 and, until three days ago, I had not touched the scrapbook since 2012 AND the layout plan changed. Instead of one highlight per year, I decided that I would document the top events each year.

After the "Christmas 2012" page, our scrapbook continues as follows:

2013:
1. Our Engagement/Proposal
2. Our 1st Pet Together
3. Our 1st House

2014:
1. The Wedding
2. My Associates Graduation
3. Florida- Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure
4. Puerto Rico

2015:
1. Colorado- Ski Trip
2. Our 1st Anniversary
3. MEXICO!!! (Not pictured yet)

Check out the pages below!

And the last page will be... MEXICO!!! This trip is an upcoming one and has not happened yet so I will have to wait to create this page. This will be the last page in the album so I will have to add more pages to accommodate our love of traveling.

Christmas Craft Decorations

My DIY Christmas Projects

So I LOVE doing crafts and I LOVE Pinterest... Two things which make a dangerous woman. I had fallen under the Pinterest spell this holiday season and, needless to say, went nuts!
There were so many beautiful Christmas crafts I knew I could do and I am more than pleased with the outcomes.
Check them out:

Glass Gem Ornaments
(These were my first attempted craft. They're stunning by the candle light!)

Mini Trees

(In this one you can also see my silver glittery deer!)

(The candle light perfects the scene, doesn't it?)

Giant Snowflakes

Here's what they look like put up:
Aren't they stunning against that paneled wall?! This is by far my favorite view in the house!)

Next year my craft goals are a Christmas wreath, outside mini garland trees for each side of our door and a welcome post. So what do you think?! I absolutely LOVE how everything turned out. If you'd like to order any of these to save yourself the trouble of doing them, check out my Etsy shop!

Christmas Decor

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Christmas is by far my favorite Holiday and don't even get me started on Winter itself. My decorating style is very modern and I'd love to share it with you. I even pay attention to the littlest details- like plug-ins and kitchen towels! :) Some of the decorations I made myself. I will be creating another post specially for them so you can check them out!
